2008 PORSCHE 911 TURBO 997.1

Available now from The Group B in Miami, Florida is this 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet that was first delivered to Champion Porsche in Pompano Beach, Florida and had 1 owner until 2023. The car is finished in Basalt Black Metallic and features a black convertible soft top as well as bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, rear parking sensors, side air intakes, flared quarter panels, a deployable rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.

The Carfax report lists damage to the front end in January 2011 that included a front-airbag deployment. Paint meter readings show the car still maintains all the original paint on all metal panels with paint meter readings to show that. There is a scratch to note in the rear bumper on the right side which is visible in the photos. The 19” Turbo wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 235/35 in front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by red Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). The lug nuts were replaced in July 2023, and a curb mark is seen on the right-front wheel.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Carrera Red Natural leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels along with contrasting black carpets. Interior amenities include a sport shifter, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management infotainment, a Bose sound system, a wind deflector, automatic climate control, and cruise control.The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 62k miles.

The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 lb-ft. The battery was replaced and an oil change was performed in September 2022, and the air conditioning system was serviced in July 2023.
