1971 Datsun 510 Street/ Track

Available now is probably the nicest Datsun 510 build on the market. This 71 Datsun had the same owner in North Carolina from 1983 until this year and has been garage kept. The majority of this build was completed within the last 10 years, its incredible the amount of minute details that really tie the car together so well.

Blue paint is in really good condition. The paint shows well with minor defects but make no mistake, everywhere you go in this car you get thumbs up questions asked and photos taken. The molded flares and stance has been executed flawlessly. Previous owner intended to keep the car forever so anything that ever needed attention or replacing got replaced with a new OEM or Upgraded part. In a weight saving effort the rear window and quarter windows were replaced with Plexi glass. To make room for the full chromoly cage the door windows were removed. The car was weighed in at 1900 lbs.

Driving experience is an absolute riot. The power to weight ratio really is absolutely perfect. Cold starts are a breeze with the starting sequence on the switch panel. The car handles like its on rails and is very dialed in. The intake sound from the carbs is intoxicating and keeps you lusting for more. As set up it is perfect for driving on the street driving to the track or autocross and driving home.

Bottom of the car is really really impressive. The entire bottom was treated with POR-15 rust inhibitor. There is no rust or rot which is absolutely unheard of on a 71 Datsun 510. Frame rails are straight there is no sign of this car ever being in any kind of accident.
